Our final pillar is our community development programs. There are three major programs currently being run at the KLMCDC. These are programs having to do with  employability skills, financial literacy skills and life skills. 

 

Employability Skills Programs

 

A person that cannot properly speak the multi-faceted language of today's employer is doomed to fail. Therefore, we have developed an employability program that empowers job seekers with the skills necessary to obtain lasting employment.

 

Financial Literacy Skills Prgrams

 

A community lacking  financial acumen is also doomed to fail. In association with Chase Bank, the KLMCDC provides a financial literacy program that teaches the basics on banking, credit  and personal finance. 

 

Life Skills Program

 

This program targets youth ages 11-17, and seeks to educate them on the dangers of substance abuse. A vital and potent program.
